Kristin Garrison

Ms. Garrison, who has about five years of experience in advancement and alumni positions in higher education, joined Marietta College in July 2008.

Prior to joining Marietta, Garrison worked as the executive assistant for the vice president for University Advancement at Ohio University and before that as the executive assistant for the assistant vice president for the Ohio University Alumni Association. During her time at Ohio, Garrison worked in conjunction with the executive director to manage the alumni board. This included planning, directing and executing three meetings a year and one executive committee meeting.

Garrison also spent nearly a decade as a buyer/coordinator for Princess Cruise Lines in Santa Clarita, Calif. She managed a $13 million annual purchasing budget for the fleet's furnishings department.

Garrison earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Marietta College in 1984.
